Millions of viewers watched the first season of NBC’s The Apprentice as Kwame Jackson, Bill Rancic, and 14 other applicants arrived on the island of Manhattan for the challenge of a lifetime—a 15-week interview for a six-figure salary with Donald Trump. Kwame quickly became one of the more visible competitors and survived the boardroom firings week after week, landing himself as one of two final apprentices. Although Kwame was not hired as the apprentice, “The Donald” didn’t fire him either.
Kwame will discuss the business lessons learned during his experience, what it was like to work for Trump, how team building is essential to success, and the importance of individuality. He’ll take you from overcoming obstacles such as layoffs, to risk taking to managing managers. His lessons from the boardroom will inspire you to explore, embrace, and execute the keys to success.
